Blanket testing tests everyone in a group at once: a crew, a shift or a whole site. Because nobody is singled out, it’s often used to launch a testing programme, or after a concern that affects a whole team.
Plan for numbers
Testing dozens of people in one session is a logistics job:
- Saliva tests such as SalivaScan and SalivaTracer can run side by side, with no bathroom queue.
- Breathalysers check a whole crew for alcohol in minutes. Bring spare mouthpieces (bags of 50).
- Order enough kits, plus spares for retests, and check the expiry dates before the day.
Keep it orderly
Tell people what will happen and why, test everyone the same way, and keep results private. Send any result that isn’t negative to a laboratory for confirmation; we supply urine and oral fluid confirmation kits.
