Trial protocols often exclude participants who use drugs, alcohol or nicotine, and screen for them at the screening visit and before dosing. The panel is set by the protocol, so the range of tests matters.
Build the panel your protocol needs
- Urine cups from 5 to 15 drugs, plus single-drug dip tests to add drugs a cup doesn’t cover, such as ketamine or fentanyl.
- Nicotine: the cotinine dip test detects cotinine, the substance the body makes from nicotine, for checking smoking and vaping status.
- Alcohol: a breathalyser before dosing, or an EtG test to show recent drinking.
